Donnell Pumphrey has already rushed for 1246 yards and 13 touchdowns this season and he doesn’t plan to stop to do that now. He leads NCAAF with 178 rushing yards per game. This man is an absolute stud and his backcourt partner also added 105 yards on the ground as well. San Diego State’s offense is based mostly on the ground and Chapman is not needed much. For example, he only had 18 passing attempts, 13 of which were successful.
Kent Myers found his groove last week when he went for 188 passing yards and 3 touchdowns. Tonny Lindsey also added 90 yards on the ground and helped his team get the win over Fresno State. Utah State’s defense has been okay overall but it will have to be much better if they plan to stop Pumphrey.
I think San Diego State’s offense will be too much for Utah State and their defense, which is ranked 6th in the country (284.6 yards per game) will also do its job and help the team big time.
