Betting Prediction:
The Buckeyes took care of business in the first two weeks but their first test will be the TCU visit on Saturday. Ryan Day has done a fantastic job so far on the sidelines and his team looks prepared and focused on their opponents. Their play-calling has been excellent and their go-to guys are executing the schemes to perfection.
On the other side, TCU outscored their opponents by 97-19, although one of those opponents was Southern University, an FCS school. The Gary Patterson’s squad played some intense football in the first two weeks and we can all be sure that his team will be up for the challenge in front of their own fans on Saturday.
I believe that TCU will hang around through the first half but Ohio State will make the needed adjustments at half-time and eventually blow them away. Robert Landers will cause all sorts of trouble for the TCU’s quarterback and we saw that Rutgers put double coverage on him last week. The Horned Frogs’ offense will suffer from that and Ohio State will increase their lead in the second half which will result in covering the spread.
