Betting Prediction:
The Texans fought hard but lost fairly to the Patriots in week 1. What we understood from that game was that Lamar Miller will dominate on the ground this year. He really seems to be improved and he rushed for 98 yards while Deshaun Watson managed to throw for 176 yards with one touchdown and one interception. They allowed 21 points in the first half but then managed to get back in the contest and be really competitive till the end.
On the other side, the Titans lost to the unconfident Dolphins whose Ryan Tannehill had an awful game. The Titans scored just 3 points through the first three quarters where Marcus Mariota threw for 103 yards with two interceptions and then left the field injured. Dion Lewis rushed for 75 yards and one touchdown.
The Titans didn’t show much on offense in their last game and they also conceded 27 points against a side with a C+ offense. With all these missing and questionable players, I cannot see Tennessee improving to 0.500. Watson and the Texans have just enough quality on offense to make the needed plays while their defense can put pressure on the quarterback and then it will eventually take care of business.
