Betting Prediction:

The New York Guardians started the season on a really high note after beating the hell out of the Vipers. The performance on defense was really impressive but it turned out that the Vipers were so bad and not that the Guardians were so dominant. In week 2, New York could not stop the DC Defenders with Cardale Jones at all. The offense is average at best but the defense is needed, in order to carry the team forward. QB Matt McGloin is not doing much of a good job, completing just 48% of his passes for 226 yards, 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions. The rushing game is also not very solid with Tim Cook going for just 49 yards on 14 carries for 0 touchdowns. McGloin was not happy with the gameplan last week and he threw almost everyone under the bus. The chemistry problems are real in this team.

The St. Louis Battlehawks are finally going to be at home in week 3. They almost beat the Roughnecks on the road. It was a real test for them and they passed it with flying colors. We all know that it is hard to stop Walker and he will score over 20 points but the interesting thing was that St. Louis scored 24 on their own. They had 2 turnovers which cost them the game. QB Jordan Ta’amu looks like the best QB out there not named Jones as he is completing 78% of his throws for 493 yards, 4 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions. They also make good use of the running game with Matt Jones going for 129 yards on the ground on 37 carries. De’Mornay Peterson is also a stud, catching 13 out of 15 passes targeted to him for 114 yards and a touchdown.

The line appears to be a bit higher but the Guardians are actually not a very good side, so I am going to side with St. Louis and the points as I expect them to get the victory in a blowout fashion.
