The Cleveland Browns are now 2-0 in the preseason. They are coming off a 21-18 win over the Colts on the road. The backup QBs had a phenomenal game against Indianapolis as they threw for 207 passing yards and they also had 3 touchdowns. D’Ernest Johnson had an average of 5.3 yards per carry while D.J. Montgomery had 3 receptions for 77 yards. Gilbert proves to be a solid QB behind Mayfield with the numbers he is putting up this preseason.
On the other side, we have the Bucs who are 1-1 in the preseason. Ryan Griffin and Blaine Gabbert threw for 1 touchdown against the Miami Dolphins and got a last-second win. Tanner Hudson finished the game with 93 receiving yards and 1 touchdown on 6 receptions. Defensively, Tampa Bay looked very well with many players making key stops all over the field.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been very exciting to watch this preseason. The Cleveland hype is real and the season hasn’t even started yet. 3 points for the Buccaneers is too much to ask for the Browns to cover and I expect this to be a very close game with one of the teams coming out on top within a field goal range.
