Arkansas State turned the corner after their four losses out of the four games they played at the beginning of the season. Their offense still has work to do in order to perform better but they played their best game last week when Hansen threw four touchdowns and Warren Ward had 3 rushing touchdowns. Their defense is improving and that’s why they had 3 wins in their last 3 games.
Georgia State counts mostly on its defense to deliver the wins. Their defense is ranked 11th in the country in yards per attempt allowed while their offense is very suspect. They usually don’t score more than 20 points per game and that’s why they have so many losses on their resumé.
Arkansas State’s offense still hasn’t convinced that it can make plays against an elite defense and I think we will see it struggle on Thursday. Georgia State will play in front of their own crowd and they will be very competitive once again because of their defense.
