Žalgiris is the champion of Lithuania. Their championship is in the 16th round and the team is in the second place with 35 points, only one less than the current leader Trakai. Expect the games from championship where the team hadn’t loose in six matches they find a time to play one friendly game against Terek Grozny and they lost it 2:1. Astana is the champion of Kazakhstan. They won the championship in the last round last year but now after 20 rounds the team of Stanimir Stoilov is the leader with 50 points – 10 more than the second Kairat. Astana won their last game from the league against Akzhayik with 5:1 and now can concentrate entirely on the games from Champions League qualifications. The team from Kazakhstan was a big surprise last year in the group stage where they had been with the teams of Benfica, Galatasaray, and Atlético Madrid and record only 2 losses and 4 draws in their debut in Champions League group stage.

Astana is the better team and their experience from last year give them, even more, advantage. I think that team of Stanimir Stoilov will do their best to win in Lithuania and make their second match at home easier so that they can focus in the meantime in the championship because in the next rounds competitors will be even stronger.
