Betting Prediction:
The Wisconsin Badgers managed to get 8 wins last year and they will certainly be looking to improve that record in 2019. The offense was decent last year and 4 of its starters return. The Badgers’ offense averaged 29.7 points per game and 431 total yards. Johnathan Taylor is a Heisman candidate. He ran for over 2000 rushing yards last season and he is one of the top prospects for next year’s draft.
The South Florida Bulls also had a good season according to their standards last year. The offense was potent last time around, averaging 28.5 points per game and 437 yards. There shouldn’t be any problems for the offense this season as QB Blake Barnett and running back Jordan Cronkrite return. The defense was shaky last year and things don’t look much better in 2019 as the Bulls lost some key pieces.
The Wisconsin Badgers are clearly the better team and they are also the better coached one. Johnathan Taylor will have no problems running over the South Florida defenders and the new guys on offense also have great potential that they will show against this leaky defense. South Florida fell apart last season and even though they have talent, I do not see them getting anything from this game, not even covering the spread.
