In a game from NCAA Football Week 11, we will see Toledo at Northern Illinois.
Betting Prediction:
The Toledo Rockets are on the high and they will be looking to extend their 2-game winning streak. They beat Ball State at home last week by 45-13. Eli Peters registered 327 passing yards with 2 touchdowns but he tossed 4 interceptions. He has been inconsistent this year and his TD to INT ratio this year stands at 11:6. The other quarterback, Mitchell Guadagni, is questionable for this one and I expect to see Peters in the starting line-up again. The Rockets’ running game is prolific and Bryant Koback went for 177 rushing yards last week. They are also averaging 41 points per game, mostly thanks to their running game.
The Northern Illinois Huskies extended their winning streak to 5 games last week when they beat Akron by 36-26 on the road. Their quarterback is inconsistent as well, throwing for 1252 passing yards so far with a 9:5 TD to INT ratio. They are also relying on the running game to get the victories and their defense is also very good. It limited the Zips to just 364 total yards last week.
Even though the Huskies’ rushing defense is the best in the FBS, I expect it to struggle against Bryant Koback. They haven’t faced such a good runner so far and given the fact that they’re also failing to score much(averaging just 19 points per game), I expect Toledo to get the W and extend their winning streak, clinching bowl eligibility.
