Betting Prediction:

The Texas Tech defense has been nothing short of a mess so far this season. They’re coming off a bye week and they will be hoping to correct the mistakes they have made. They didn’t have an answer for Will Grier and company in the 42-34 loss when they allowed 489 yards, including 370 through the air. Houston were one of the lucky ones as well as they went for 635 yards in total, including 462 passing ones. Texas Tech are giving up 31 points per game and this is simply no good for their performance.

TCU with one of the best defenses in the NCAA will try to replicate their performance against Iowa State which finished 17-14. Even though they are playing well recently, they allowed 31 and 40 points to Texas and Oklahoma State, respectively. The offense hasn’t been great but Shawn Robinson is showing some glimpses of talent. He is completing 63% of his passes for 1015 yards with 7 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. Robinson, however, is questionable for this game with a shoulder injury and there is a big chance for Michael Collins to play who is 6-for-14, 105 yards and 1 touchdown.

TCU might have a bad offense but I think that they will prevail at the end because The Texas Tech defense just isn’t good enough and that will be visible even against an impotent offense. However, I believe that the winning margin will be a field goal.
