Betting Prediction:
The USF Bulls started the season once again strongly and their record is 5-0 now. Their defense is still inconsistent and they will be looking to improve on that as the season progresses. They are currently allowing 422 total yards which is no good for a squad ready to compete with the best in college football. Jordan Cronkrite had a monster game against Massachusetts, rushing for 302 yards on 23 carries.
Tulsa, on the other side, could’ve easily been 5-0 as well if it wasn’t for the fourth quarter collapse against Houston. They almost caused the upset against a team that is averaging 50 points per game and 582 yards on total offense. Tulsa’s defense allowed Houston to score three touchdowns and a field goal in the fourth quarter for the comeback win in lopsided fashion. Even though they managed to keep Russo to just 112 passing yards and two interceptions, it still wasn’t enough for them to win the game.
These two team are very good offensively but I believe that Tulsa won’t have an answer for Cronkrite. Luke Skipper is also expected to miss the game for Tulsa and the freshman Seth Boomer will probably start. With that being said, I believe that South Florida will cover the spread.
