Betting Prediction:
The Seattle Dragons lack the talent but they compensate with great coaching. He is putting his team in the best possible position for them to succeed, however, they still cannot win that many games. They lost to Dallas in week 3, even though they had a 12-6 lead but then they failed to score in the second half and were outscored 18-0. QB Brandon Silvers is only completing 53% of his throws for 512 yards, 6 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions. RB Ja’Quan Gardner is the team’s leading rusher with 100 yards on 27 carries. This is clearly not as much as Seattle’s head coach would’ve liked and the whole offense has been problematic so far.
On the other side, we have the St. Louis Battlehawks who are one of the most solid teams this year. They can go toe to toe with anyone and this was proved in all of the games they played this season. They managed to get an ugly win against Dallas, almost shocked Houston in a shootout and then beat the hell out of New York. Their defense can be a weak at times but the offense is good. The running game is doing a good job. Matt Jones is the league’s leading rusher with 224 yards and a touchdown on 52 carries. St. Louis really likes to control the clock and a big part of that plays the offensive line. Jordan Ta’amu’s statistics are great. He is completing 75% of his throws for 612 yards, 4 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions.
Seattle will certainly lose the game and St. Louis will control the clock but 11.5 points are too much even for their quality. Seattle is well-coached and I believe the Dragons will bounce back after the abysmal second half they had against Dallas.
