Betting Prediction:

San Diego State had the opportunity to go undefeated for the season but they lost to South Alabama 3 weeks ago. From that moment, they achieved back-to-back wins against UNLV and Fresno State. Donnell Pumphrey rushed for 2 touchdowns on 38 carries against Fresno State and he already has 1111 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns for six games. He was so amazing on the ground last week that Chapman threw the ball only 12 times for 72 yards.

Malik Robertson was also impressive for San Jose as he ran for 139 yards on 35 carries. Their quarterback rushed to the endzone 2 times and their defense has finally come big. It will be interesting to see how San Jose’ linebackers will keep Pumphrey away from their safeties who won’t be able to catch him.

San Diego State is by far the better team not only because of Donnell Pumphrey but because their defense is ranked 8th in the country. I think San Diego will entertain the home crowd on Friday and they will win by 23 or more points.
