The Oakland Raiders are just coming off a surprise to most of us win against the Los Angeles Rams. Mike Glennon and Nathan Peterman played a hell of a lot better than expected, even though they combined for a touchdown and 2 interceptions. The offense was decent and the team managed to keep the ball away from the Rams‘ playmakers. The defense was key in this game as it managed to keep the Rams to just 3.7 yards per play.
The Arizona Cardinals also impressed in week 1 of the preseason because they beat the Los Angeles Chargers by 17-13. Kyler Murray had a great drive in the first quarter and he finished the game with 5/6 passing attempts and a touchdown. Brett Hundley also impressed because he didn’t turn the ball over.
The Oakland Raiders beat a Rams team that almost didn’t play any of its starters. They also have two inexperienced QBs who haven’t convinced me that they can win football games. Kyler Murray and Brett Hundley look like the more complete duo and I bet my money on them to win another preseason game.
