Betting Prediction:
We all thought it was over when Carson Wentz went down due to an injury. We also thought the same last year when Nick Foles brought them to the Super Bowl and won it. He is doing an amazing job this time again throwing for 962 yards with 6 touchdowns. The offense is averaging 22.9 points per game and 365 yards. The defense has been inconsistent all year and this is the big knock against this team and its identity from last season.
The Chicago Bears have been nothing short of sensational this year, especially at home. Mitch Trubisky looks like an improved quarterback who knows how to get things done. The front office sped his progress by drafting some very interesting pieces on offense and this turned out to be a great deal. The true Bears’ face, however, can be shown on defense. They are leading the league in points allowed with 17 points.
As much as I want to see Nick Foles succeed once again in the postseason, I do not think that he will ever be ready to face a defense such as the Bears’ one, especially on the road. They will put pressure on him all day long while Trubisky will be able to do just the enough against the shaky Eagles’ secondary.
