The Los Angeles Chargers played very well this season and have won 5 of their last 6 games. The only loss came against the Baltimore Ravens who they will be facing in this one again. The Chargers played impressively on offense this season as they average 26.8 points per game with Philip Rivers had one of his best seasons, completing 68% of his passes for 4308 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. Melvin Gordon had a solid season, bouncing back from last year.
The Baltimore Ravens are 6-1 with Lamar Jackson leading the way. Jackson is beating the opponents mostly with his legs but he can also make the needed throws when necessary. Baltimore’s defense has been great this season, holding opponents to just 17.9 points per game. They defended very well against Philip Rivers and held him to 181 yards and two interceptions the last time around.
The Chargers are a good team and even though, they had difficulties against the Ravens in their last outing, I expect them to do a much better job this time. They have now faced Jackson one time and I believe that in their second meeting they will be more prepared for the rookie quarterback. I also expect the Chargers’ offense to have taken notes from the game they played two weeks ago and finally deliver.
