The New England Patriots are one of the two unbeaten teams in the NFL. The team is averaging 31.7 points per game on offense and it is giving up just 8 points on defense. QB Tom Brady has thrown for 1743 passing yards so far with 10 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. The Patriots recently found their running game with Sony Michel rushing for 348 yards on 100 attempts. It is not great but the lack of running game is now replaced with at least ‘some’ running game.
The New York Jets got their first victory last week against the Cowboys. That was the first full game of Sam Darnold this year after he got injured in week 1 against the Buffalo Bills. The offense looked solid and the defense did its part against a very good Cowboys’ team. QB Sam Darnold is completing 70% of his throws for 513 yards, 3 touchdowns and 1 interceptions. Le’Veon Bell is also there to contribute to the great running game.
The Jets’ defense is very good and I expect the whole team to perform well against Brady like they did the previous times they met in New York. I believe that New England will this one but the margin won’t be this big.
