They beat UC Irvine 79-54 on Sunday, in order to advance to the Sweet 16. Payton Pritchard was the leading scorer in this game with 18 points.
The Virginia Cavaliers limited Oklahoma Sooners to just 51 points last time out and advanced to the next round. Mamadi Diakite was the big reason for the win. He scored 14 points and he also got 9 rebounds. The Cavaliers mainly rely on the defense to give them victories and they even needed a second-half run, in order to see off Garden-Webb in the first round.
