This is the weakest game we have had on Thursday Night football for a long time. We’ve seen that both teams have many issues moving the ball. The 49ers clearly have the edge on defense because they are able to make key plays and the Raiders aren’t able to stop anything- neither the pass nor the run. Matt Breida is having a solid season on the ground and the 49ers can benefit from it in this one, although their passing offense is not that good.
Oakland can’t get anything going and they even traded Amari Cooper to the Cowboys for a first-round draft pick. They are giving up on the season and there are rumors that they are also thinking about replacing Derek Carr and renovating the whole roster. This can’t be good news ahead of a game on the road against a team that is willing to die for their head coach.
Let’s be honest, no one expects this to be a match he would enjoy. But I think that it has the potential to turn into a shootout battle because both defenses are awful. The 49ers should come on top, considering the fact that their head coach has a different perspective and he is looking for a way to improve his players.
