The New Orleans Saints were able to escape with a win over Tampa Bay after scoring 25 unanswered points to get a 28-14 victory. Defensively, the Saints improved a lot since the beginning of the season and they held a fifth consecutive opponent to 17 points or less. Alvin Kamara clearly has the edge over Christian McCaffrey and he could hurt the Panthers both on the ground and catching the football through the air.
The Carolina Panthers will look to get back to .500 after losing to the Cleveland Browns last week. Cam Newton has thrown for 3264 yards, 24 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. McCaffrey is the go-to guy on offense. He is their leading rusher and receiver, having 20 more receiving yards than DJ Moore. As a team, Carolina is averaging 24.9 points per game.
New Orleans doesn’t play very well at Carolina usually but I just can’t pick against them this time. They are just dismantling opponents this year and to me, they are the most complete team in the NFL. The defense is starting to come around just at the right time and I believe that Cam Newton will have a hard time against it.
