The Missouri Tigers have one of the strongest schedules in the entire NCAA. They already played two ranked sides- Alabama and Tennessee, lost both games and on the schedule is another one against LSU. They will also have to play against Georgia and Florida later this season- two other powerhouses. The offense could not get anything going against the strong oppositions- averaging just 15.5 points per game while the defense is allowing 36.5 points. The team has only scored one passing touchdown this year.
The LSU Tigers already recorded a loss this season- against Mississippi State in week 1 but then beat Vanderbilt in week 2. Ever since they lost Joe Burrow and the tremendous defense from last year, LSU do not look like themselves. They are averaging 37.5 points per game but the defense is allowing 25.5 points. QB Myles Brennan is doing a decent job but he is not Joe Burrow. He is completing 60% of his throws for 682 yards, 7 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions.
I suppose week 1 was just a practice for LSU. They looked way crisper and organized in week 2 against Vanderbilt and I expect more of the same here. Missouri will struggle to move the ball and will not score much.
