The Minnesota Golden Gophers had a great season and they were 9-0 before losing 2 of their last 3 games. Iowa and Wisconsin showed us the way how this Minnesota squad can be defeated, however, the Golden Gophers will feel that has been a good campaign overall. QB Tanner Morgan finishes the season with 2975 passing yards, 28 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions and a big part of these stats are his great wide receivers Rashod Bateman and Tyler Johnson who both have over 1000 yards receiving.
Auburn was in the playoff discussion for a long time and many people even believe that this is one of their best rosters for a long time. The team even managed to beat Alabama last week 48-45 and it moved up to 12th place. QB Bo Nix is still very rusty with his 57% completed passes, 2366 passing yards, 15 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions. The future ahead of him is bright and he will only get better but for now, he is not very solid.
Auburn’s three losses showed us that we still cannot trust them. Even though Minnesota is also not very consistent, I believe that 7 points are too many for the Tigers to cover, having in mind their QB issues.
