The Minnesota Vikings will try to improve to 2-0 for the second time in the last three years. This time, however, their task will be tough, going against Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay’s home crowd. Kirk Cousins completed 55.6 percent of his passes for 244 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions in week 1. The Vikings’ receiving core seems to be doing well, executing the needed plays to perfection on 3rd down. Defensively, Minnesota is allowing not much yardage.
Aaron Rodgers managed to escape with a win in Chicago after a miraculous comeback. He completed 66.7 percent of his passes for 286 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions. His receivers will have a tough time on Sunday against a great defense but I think that they will be able to get open enough to receive passes from their quarterback.
The Vikings seem to have the better roster but it is tough to pick against Rodgers and the Packers at home. I expect this to be a close game until the end with Cousins having a one-possession game in the last 2 minutes but failing to win.
