Jhoulys Chacin will start his second game in this year’s playoffs, hoping for another win on his resume. He played in game 3 for the Brewers when he was pitching without a mistake, firing five shutout innings. His only start against the Dodgers this year is one that he wants to forget. Milwaukee lost by 21-5 and he had abysmal performance. His appearances against the Dodgers are always full of mistakes and he will be looking to rectify that in game 3.
Walker Buehler had one start so far, too. He allowed 5 runs in 5 innings against the Braves in their lone victory in the postseason. He has just 1 start against the Brewers in a 1-0 loss when he played 7 innings. Cody Bellinger is the guy we will keep an eye on in this one as he has done big damage to the Milwaukee’s starter Chacin, collecting 5 hits in 12 at bats with two home runs.
Both pitchers are inconsistent and I believe that this will be a high-scoring game. Their bullpens are not very good, either, especially the Brewers’ one which missed out on many victories so far.
