Betting Prediction:

The Minnesota Wild lost 3 of their first 4 league games this year and what is most concerning is that they scored just 2 goals combined in the first 2 games. Since then, they scored 8 goals in their next two matches, including 4 against Carolina in their OT loss, and they will hope that this trend will be kept in this one as well. I am afraid this will not be possible because they are playing on the road against one of the best sides in ice hockey and Pekka Rinne is one of the best goalies, especially at home.

The Predators are favorites to get to the Stanley Cup Final this year and their defense shows that this might be true. They’re only allowing 2 goals per game which is good for being 2nd in the league. Nashville won both games against the Wild last year and they will be looking forward to getting the first W against them on Monday night.

Nashville have the better offense and the better goalie. They are also 50-23 in their last 73 home games. I cannot see the Wild slowing down the Predators just now.
