Frank Mason is one of the top prospects in the country, averaging 20 points and 5 assists per game. He scored 22 and added 8 assists and 5 rebounds in their victory over UC Davis. Landen Lucas is a big part of how they play because he is one of their few big guys able to put good numbers.
Michigan State also started slow but then their defense won them the game. Nick Ward led the Spartans in scoring with his 19 points while Miles Bridges added 18 by himself. Michigan State came all the way here because of their elite defense and this is what they are known for. It will be interesting to see them against a team that can score from anywhere on the pitch.
