On Monday night, the Rams are visiting the Raiders in Oakland to wrap up the first round of the 2018 season. Los Angeles have one of the best offenses in football at the moment, along with Atlanta and Pittsburgh, with quarterback Jared Goff at the helm. Their running game is exceptional, being led by Todd Gurley who went for 1305 yards and 13 touchdowns last season. Brandin Cooks will stretch the field as he is the newcomer at the wide receiver spot while Aaron Donald is expected to make his debut on Monday, alongside defensive backs Aqib Talib and Marcus Peters and lineman Ndamukong Suh.
Oakland begins the Jon Gruden era with Derek Carr under center. Last season Carr threw for 3,500 yards, 22 TDs and 13 interceptions. The big addition to the receiving corps is Jordy Nelson who will more than compensate for the loss of Michael Crabtree.
The Rams will be looking to take advantage of the Raiders defense that just lost Khalil Mack to Chicago. The Raiders are also learning a new system under Jon Gruden and they will find it hard to compete for the first few weeks of the season, especially against probably the best offense in football.
