The Ravens started off the season strongly against the worst time in the NFL according to the bookies. Joe Flacco looked tremendous with 121 passer rating on 25 of 34 passing with 236 yards, three touchdowns, and no picks.
Michael Crabtree is a big help on the receiving end, catching one touchdown and making the Ravens’ offense look better than last year and especially, making Joe Flacco look better. The Ravens held the Bills to just 153 yards and picked off two passes.
Cincinnati rallied for a 34-23 victory at Indianapolis. Andy Dalton was almost perfect with 21 of 28 for 243 yards and two scores. AJ Green caught the ball six times which was good for 92 yards and a touchdown while Joe Mixon rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown.
The Ravens are listed as favorites for this game on the road and history shows us that we can rarely see Joe Flacco have two great consecutive games. AJ Green and co. are the better receiving core while Joe Mixon is also the best running back out of those that will be on the pitch on Thursday. I do not expect to see that explosive game from both teams and perhaps those defensive stops that the Bengals made when needed on the road will make the game go one way and that will be Cincinnati’s way.
