The biggest main event in sports won’t be a football game. It will be the UFC game between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor Mcgregor.
Betting Prediction:
Most of the analysts are betting on Nurmagomedov to win the fight because Conor McGregor’s biggest advantage in this game is his left hand. If he lands a straight left at Khabib, it will certainly hurt him and it will affect his game. Outside of that, they’re not seeing any other advantages.
The knock I have against Nurmagomedov is that he has no footwork. He only knows how to get forward and how to approach his opponent when he actually has his hands on him. Conor McGregor is a very intelligent fighter who is probably going to walk Khabib onto the left hand. I think we’re going to see more lateral movement and footwork. Conor will be ready to “kiss” the floor at least a couple of times but then he knows that at the beginning of the third round, he will have his chance to counter-attack.
We’ve seen Khabib slow down in the past in the later rounds of the fights. For example, in the Al Iaquinta fight we all thought if it was McGregor on the other corner, he would’ve folded.
