Kentucky State and Central State both did not any games in 2020 due to the pandemic. Kentucky State went 7-3 in 2019 and this was one of their best seasons in recent years. KSU are returning many of their 2019 players who will play in their senior years. This group of experienced veterans is led by RB Brett Sylve who is expected to have a breakout season. He finished with 1100 rushing yards and 9 TDs in 2019.

Central State OH are not having any success in the last couple of years and they will be trying to regain their powerhouse moments from the 80s and the 90s. Head coach Bobby Rome and the whole Central State organization are doing everything in their powers to achieve that- they even installed a new 1 million dollar field. Senior LB Kailen Abrams has been here since the beginning and he is returning to boost the young players’ morale.

As much as I like Bobby Rome and I believe that he will turn this school around, I think it is just too early to expect miracles. Definitely, the Marauders will have a better season and they might even win 4 games but the experience and the talent are on the Kentucky State side right now who should be able to win this one fairly easily.
