The Kansas City Chiefs look like the team to beat this year. They suffered just one loss and it came against the Raiders in week 5. Since then, they have won all of their 8 games and currently stand at 12-1. QB Patrick Mahomes is having another MVP-caliber season, completing 68.4% of his passes for 4208 yards, 33 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions. The defense can still improve a bit but the Chiefs are making key stops so far that are keeping them in the games.
The New Orleans Saints are coming off a very surprising loss to the Philadelphia Eagles where they struggled to get points on the board for the most part. The offense is scoring less and less points per game and it seems that the opposition has figured them out. The defense, however, is very solid, allowing just 20.4 points per game and it is ranked 4th in the league.
Patrick Mahomes and his boys look so much better than everybody else in the NFL right now that it is really hard to bet against them. New Orleans will definitely make it a tough outing at home but the Chiefs are by far the best team in the league and the Saints can’t pass over the top and without this, I can’t see them getting many points.
