New York Jets had a decent 7-9 season with some glimpses of excitement last year. However, now, they will have to get used to living without two of their best defensive players- Jamal Adams and C.J. Mosley. RB Le’Veon Bell was a disappointment after his trade from Pittsburgh. Much more was expected from him but it seems that he is done with the big football. QB Sam Darnold is the only one who is playing well(even behind a bad O-line) and he finished with 3024 passing yards, 19 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions.
Buffalo added a key piece to their offense. This is what they were struggling last season and that is why they added all-star Stefon Diggs at wide receiver. This is a run-first oriented offense that uses the clock very well. The rushing attack was ranked 8th last season with Frank Gore and Devin Singletary running the show. It is expected rookie RB Zack Moss to be included in the offense as well as he played some snaps in preseason and he looks very good.
Buffalo will most probably get off to a very good start of the season. I see them as the only team, qualifying for the playoffs out of AFC East and they will start strongly with their new offensive wideout.
