It is always interesting to see the Zags coming to town to face North Carolina as it produced many big games throughout the years. The Bulldogs recorded their lowest amount of points in the last game against the Volunteers, losing 76-73. Rui Huchimura is their leading scorer with 22.1 points per game.
The Tar Heels are coming off a 97-69 win over UNC-Wilmington last Wednesday. It was a game that no one expected them to lose and they got the job done earlier than expected. Guard Coby White is improving with each game played and he is now averaging 15.3 points per game. Senior guard Cameron Johnson is the leading scorer with 15.7 points per game.
It won’t be an easy game for Gonzaga. We all know that this hostile environment cost them victories in the past. Even with that being said, I still believe that the Bulldogs will bounce back from the loss they suffered and get back to the W column. Huchimura will have a great impact on this one and he will win it for the Zags late in the second half.
