The Golden State Warriors are heading to the Finals for a 5th straight year. Even though they played without Kevin Durant for most of the playoffs, they didn’t take a step back. It looks like Steph Curry is playing the best basketball in his career as he was averaging 36.5 points, 8.3 rebounds, 7.3 assists against the Trail Blazers. Klay Thompson added 21.5 points per game while shooting just 37.8 percent from the field.
The Toronto Raptors were in a world of trouble as they fell to 0-2 against the Bucks but they haven’t lost a game since then. Kawhi Leonard was sensational on both ends of the floor as he averaged 29.8 points, 9.5 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.2 steals per game while also playing defense against Giannis. Pascal Siakam did not play very well as he shot just 41% from the field and 20% from the 3-point line.
The Raptors managed to slow down the Bucks’ offense but they will now face a different monster in the face of the Warriors. Golden State is a much more experienced team and I believe that they have what it takes to steal home advantage in game 1 and get the victory.
