The Milwaukee Bucks looked pretty solid after winning the two opening games of the series but since then, Kawhi Leonard has turned on his MVP mode and Giannis is less and less effective. The ‘Greek Freak’ finished with just 24 points in game 5 while Eric Bledsoe added 20. Khris Middleton didn’t have a good game at all while Malcolm Brogdon had a good game despite not winning.
The Toronto Raptors were trailing by 14 points early in the game but they did not panic. They played so well that they decreased the losing margin to just 3 points at half time. Kawhi Leonard had another impressive game as he finished with 35 points, 7 rebounds, and a career-high 9 assists. Fred VanVleet was the key, coming off the bench. He nailed 7 three-pointers and finished the game with 21 points while Pascal Siakam had 14 points and 13 assists.
The Raptors’ supporting cast is stepping up to help Kawhi in recent games and I do not see that changing as well in game 6. Giannis and the Bucks have yet to win a game away from home in the series and having this in mind, the veteran Raptors’ players should be able to close this series at home.
