Florida State started off this campaign with lots of hopes but also with a new loss. There was a lot of hype for the Seminoles during the off-season as they had a lot of coaching personnel changes but things are not looking good at all at the moment. In their opener, the running game was essentially missing and QB James Blackman was asked to throw the football 43 times. He completed just 23 of his passes for 198 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 interception.

Miami moved up to 12th place in the rankings after beating Louisville on the road. The offense was clicking and it was a really exciting game to watch. QB D’Eriq King finished with 325 yards and 3 touchdowns while RB Cam’Ron Harris added 134 rushing yards on just 9 carries. He was able to find big holes in the defense and took advantage of them.

I do not like big spreads but I also did not like what I saw from the Seminoles in week 1. Miami will be playing at home with tons of confidence after a prestigious win over Louisville. Can’t see them not dominating this one.
