The Philadelphia Eagles had a very interesting 2019 campaign. Their offense was struggling for the whole year but they still managed to beat some top teams on the road, including Green Bay and Buffalo. They also beat Washington twice and the team from the capital does not seem to be better this year. As for Philly, they improved their secondary with the additions of Darius Slay and Nickell Robey-Coleman. Carson Wentz will be under pressure but I expect him to contribute a lot as he can improve from 4039 passing yards, 27 touchdowns, and 7 interceptions.
The Washington Football Team finally has a coach who knows what he’s doing. I’m a fan of Ron Rivera’s style but he does not have much to work with. Dwayne Haskins will start as a QB and he was performing below expectations in 2019. He finished with 1365 passing yards, 7 touchdowns, and 7 interceptions in 9 games.
Washington was struggling last year and I do not see that changing in 2020. Philly has a lot of talent on both ends and they will storm past Washington in their season opener in DC.
