Betting Prediction:
The Denver Broncos and the Atlanta Falcons meet on Thursday in the NFL Hall of Fame preseason game. Joe Flacco is the new face in the Broncos’ offense and I expect him to play at least 1 and a half quarters, in order to become familiar with the offense. The same can be applied to most of his offensive assets. Case Keenum and Trevor Siemian who both have high potential will be rotated after the first quarter and I also expect them to perform well against the backup Falcons’ defense.
The Atlanta Falcons usually neglect the preseason games as they have lost 9 of their last 10. I expect Matt Ryan to play in the first 1 or 2 runs while Julio Jones may not play at all because he has a foot injury. Matt Schaub and Kurt Benkert will spend most of the time under center. Ito Smith is also expected to play most of the game as a running back instead of Devonta Freeman.
I believe that the Broncos will get off to a good start and gain a lead in the first half that the Falcons won’t be able to overcome at the end. Atlanta won’t have much of the offense playing in this one and their defense is not elite.
