The Cowboys got the super important 26-24 win over the Lions last week. With that win, they got to .500 record with Ezekiel Elliott having a great game. Zeke finished with 25 rushes for 152 yards, adding four catches for 88 yards and a touchdown to account for 240 of Dallas’ 414 yards of total offense. Dak Prescott had a better game than his previous ones and he completed 17 of 27 passes for 255 yards and two scores to help lead the Cowboys to a narrow two-point win.
The Texans finally found a way to improve Deshaun Watson’s performances and he bounced back with 375 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception. DeAndre Hopkins was a big help on the offensive end with 169 receiving yards and a touchdown. The Texans’ injury problems are still there and Coutee is still expected to get some touches, replacing Will Fuller. JJ Watt had monster two games, making 5 sacks, 5 tackles for loss, 5 QB hits and 3 forced fumbles.
I believe that Dak Prescott will be put under severe pressure but if Zeke can move the chains and take some of the pressure off his quarterback, I am sure that the Cowboys will be competitive throughout the whole game. The Cowboys’ offensive line is solid and they should be able to at least give Prescott the time to make the needed throws.
