The Dallas Cowboys are 2-5 and they are on a 2-game losing streak after Dak Prescott’s injury. They got embarrassed last week when they played Washington on the road and scored just 3 points against them. Things do not get easier this week as they will have to face another division rival and there is a big possibility Andy Dalton will not play. He will be replaced by rookie Ben DiNucci who is a 7th round pick and that says enough.
The Philadelphia Eagles also have just 2 wins this year but they are 2-4-1. They are coming off a very emotional win over the Giants at home where they trailed for the whole second half but made a late rally to win the game 22-21. QB Carson Wentz was asked to throw the football 43 times and he completed 25 of these throws for 359 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception.
Dallas will definitely lose this game as they will be playing without starter QB Dak Prescott, most probably without backup QB Andy Dalton and without almost the whole offensive line. I do not believe there is a single team that can regroup after such losses and it is a big opportunity for Wentz to shine for the first time in a while and for the Eagles’ defense to bully the opponent’s QB.
