Betting Prediction:
The Indianapolis Colts were 5-2 just 6 weeks ago. Since then, they have lost 5 of their next 6 games and they were only able to beat the Jaguars at home. The Colts are on a 3-game losing streak with losses against the Texans, the Titans and the Buccaneers. Last time out, Jacoby Brissett completed a bit over 50% of his throws for 251 yards and 2 touchdowns while the running game continues to struggle- Marlon Mack added just 38 yards on the ground and a touchdown on 11 carries.
The New Orleans Saints look like one of the best teams along with the 49ers and the Seahawks in their conference. New Orleans is 10-3 and it has already won its division. Last time out, the Saints were involved in a shootout for the ages against San Francisco. The game finished 48-46 for the 49ers, however, many positives can be taken out of this game. Drew Brees finished with 349 passing yards and 5 touchdowns against one of the best defenses in the entire league. The same cannot be said about the Saints’ defense but I would assume that it was just an off day against a very well coached team because New Orleans is playing tough on D as well.
A couple of bad games threw the Colts outside of the playoff picture. I believe that this is a group of players that can play well against anyone because of their coaching and 9 points are too many for such sides.
