Colorado State is 4-6 and the team was on a 3-game winning streak before losing to Air Force last time out. The Air Force Falcons are a decent team with an 8-2 record and a great running game. Rams‘ QB Patrick O’Brien finished the game with 347 passing yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception. The ground game was missing and Marcus McElroy recorded just 51 rushing yards on 11 carries.
The Wyoming Cowboys are 6-4 with 2 consecutive losses in recent weeks. The 20th ranked Boise State managed to escape with a narrow win at home against them and it was mainly because they commited less mistakes. Wyoming is playing with a backup quarterback at the moment. They still haven’t resolved their issues at this position and I expect to see Tyler Vander Waal for another week. He is totally inconsistent and that is why the Cowboys are giving the ball to the running backs most of the time.
It is extremely easy to run the ball against Colorado State and I expect the same to happen this week. Wyoming‘s only threat is the ground game and they will utilize it which will give them victory.
