The Indianapolis Colts took a step back in recent weeks after losing consecutively to Steelers and, unexpectedly, to the Dolphins. They managed to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars last week, 33-13 when Jacoby Brissett returned to the field. He had a quiet game with just 148 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception but no more was needed from him as Jonathan Williams terrorized the Jacksonville’s front 7 with his 116 rushing yards on just 13 carries.
The Houston Texans are also 6-4 but they are coming off their toughest loss of the year- 41-7 against Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens. Deshaun Watson was abysmal in this game, throwing for just 169 yards and he also finished with 0 touchdowns and a single interception. Carlos Hyde was also underperforming with his 65 yards on 9 carries. The Ravens were very good on the ground and their rushing game couldn’t be stopped.
I’m tempted to side with Deshaun Watson because he is the better quarterback and I expect a response from him after last week’s tough loss, however, the Colts know how to run the ball and this will be visible on Thursday. I’m not sold on any of the two teams, covering the spread but I believe that they will reach the 46-point mark and the game will be an over.
