In NFL Preseason Week 1, we will see Cincinnati Bengals at Kansas City Chiefs.
Betting Prediction:
Marvin Lewis finally left the Cincinnati Bengals. The last few years were not good for the Bengals’ fanbase as they didn’t get to the postseason on numerous occasions. There are many young wide receivers battling for a spot in the rotation and it will be interesting who out of Auden Tate, Josh Malone, Cody Core, and Alex Erickson gets a place. Ryan Finley and Jeff Driskel will split the playing time between them for a backup QB job.
The Kansas City Chiefs are destined for another great season. They kept their offensive pieces but there are many questions on defense. There are many spots that need to be filled on defense such as the free safety job. They also need to find a running back to replace Kareem Hunt. Most likely it will be Damien Williams but one of Darrel Williams, Carlos Hyde and Darwin Thompson will get the backup place.
The Chiefs have so many question marks all over the place for backup spots in the rotation that I believe their guys will produce throughout the whole preseason. The Bengals, on the other side, need to get used to their new system and I believe that this will be a problem in the first few weeks.
