The Los Angeles Chargers are one of the most interesting to watch this season. They had an awful 2019 campaign and they will be looking to improve that a lot. QB Tyrod Taylor is replacing Philip Rivers while the defense will most probably win them a lot of games. The Chargers acquired CB Chris Harris Jr. while the elite pass rushers Melvin Ingram and Joey Bosa will continue to cause trouble for the opposing offenses.
This game will be exciting for another reason- Joe Burrow will make his first NFL start. The Cincinnati Bengals won just 2 out of 14 games last season but I believe they will definitely have more this year. Let’s be honest, they won’t get more than 5 games at most because they just do not have the talent. John Ross is the only solid receiver on the team while AJ Green is past his prime and I do not know how much we can expect from him.
Burrow played very well last season for LSU but opposing pass rushers rarely got to him. This will not be the case with Cincinnati’s below-average offensive line and I expect Bosa and Ingram to get a couple of sacks on Sunday. Burrow will have a tough outing- that’s for sure and the Chargers have just too much talent to let this game slip away.
