The Green Bay Packers are still an elite team. I like them a lot and still having Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Jones, and Davante Adams would mean that they will definitely make the playoffs. Their coaching has been tremendous and the lack of solid pass rushers is separating them from the top NFL teams. Last year, they were also struggling on the road. And I believe this year, we will see another great Rodgers’ season with a chip on his shoulder because the Packers drafted a QB in the first round.
The Minnesota Vikings lost to San Francisco last season in the playoffs but overall, we can say that it was a productive campaign for them. Kirk Cousins continued to struggle on big occasions and he was not the same guy on the road. He finished with 3603 yards, 26 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions. Stefon Diggs is no longer a part of the team but the receiving core is still led by Adam Thielen which is great news.
I’m siding with the better QB here. Green Bay will definitely take a step back from last season but there were also plenty of changes in Minnesota. Both teams will start the season slowly and I believe that the Packers have the upper hand because of Aaron Rodgers’ presence.
