Central Michigan vs Northern Illinois 11/11/20 Betting Prediction
Central Michigan is 1-0 after their win over Ohio at home last week. They led for the most part and that allowed to run the ball really effectively. RB Kobe Lewis was asked to do his thing on the ground 28 times and he finished the game with 112 yards and 2 touchdowns. QB Daniel Richardson was also asked to throw the football a lot and he completed 23 out of his 41 attempts for 243 yards and 1 touchdown. Central Michigan really possessed the football a lot and that won them the game.
Northern Illinois is 0-1 after losing to a decent Buffalo team. They could not stop the run at all as they allowed 182 rushing yards and the opposing QB was rarely asked to throw the football. NIU’s QB Ross Bowers finished the game with 202 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 interception while the running game was also missing as they could not run the ball effectively.
Not being able to stop the run is really a problem for NIU and they will be playing a predominantly rushing team such as Central Michigan. I really do not see the Huskies getting anything from this game as they do not have defensive playmakers that can stop the ground game.
