The Chicago Bears are unrecognizable this year. They are 4-5 despite having the best defense in the game. The Bears just snapped a 4-game losing streak after beating the banged up Detroit Lions 20-13. Mitch Trubisky threw 3 touchdown passes with 173 passing yards while RB Montgomery had 17 carries for 60 yards.
The Los Angeles Rams are another team that is suffering from last year’s success. They are 5-4 with wins (except for Carolina in week 1) only over losing teams and the Saints without Drew Brees. The Rams lost 17-12 to the struggling Pittsburgh Steelers in a game where Todd Gurley II again went missing and Jared Goff couldn’t throw a touchdown pass, even though he had 243 passing yards.
I don’t trust the Chicago Bears at all because of Mitch Trubisky‘s play calling and exectuion. However, Todd Gurley does not look the same and Jared Goff plays very badly against teams that put pressure on him and Chicago will do exactly that. The game will be close even if the Rams win it.
