Troy are 8-1 thanks to a late touchdown last week against Appalachian State and that way they became the first-ever Sun Belt team. Troy are actually a team that doesn’t have many weak spots on their roster. Ryan Kay is one of the best punters in the nation and he is also 14 of 18 on field goals. The Trojans lead the league in sacks and run defense.
Arkansas State started 0-4 but now they are on the right track, improving with every game they play. Warren Wand and the quarterback Justice Hansen are taking the pressure off the offense and they are producing in big numbers. There are questions about their offense overall but they can be very dangerous if you give Hansen enough time to find the open man.
Troy is averaging 38 points per game and their offensive line is almost impossible to be broken. Their defensive ends get to the opposition’s quarterback at will and I expect them to put pressure on both Hansen and the running back Warren Wand.
