Betting Prediction:
Louisville made a turnaround last week when they were down 12-0 in the first quarter but went on to win it by 44-12. They allowed their opponents only 37 yards in the second half. Lamar Jackson didn’t have a great game but he was able to run the ball with his legs much more, going for 153 yards while throwing for 145 yards.
Greg Ward Jr., on the other side, threw for two touchdowns and rushed for one more in the win against Tulane by 30-18. Ward finished with 189 yards but it will be tougher for him to have that kind of performance against Louisville. He has to be at his best and to minimize the turnovers he can create. This is the only chance for Houston to pull the upset at home.
Although I don’t believe Houston can win this game, I don’t think they will lose by such a large margin. We all remember how Houston won last year, thankfully to their special teams and they can help them be competitive again.
